2 musicians, 35 songs, 2 CDs and an exuberant creativity: one CD with compositions and the second CD almost entirely improvised. The 2 great musicians create an incredible variety of moods in these gems, which are usually only 2 minutes long, using only the clarinet and acoustic guitar. It sounds playfully easy when they alternate virtuosically between light and dark colors, wander back and forth between classically influenced fugal improvisations, swing, folkloric, country, klezmer or even reverberated soundscapes - each short piece creates its own mood. The result is a great and always surprising panopticon, but always melodic, cinematic and exciting until the last minute.

www.david-heintz-musikproduktion.de Clarinetist (and saxophonist) Matthias Dörsam is one of the most active and versatile musicians on the southern German scene: Saxophonist in bands like the Rodgau Monotones, at the same time composer of orchestral works, band projects from the classical trio with bassoon and guitar to world music projects and jazz to cabaret. He also runs his own recording studio (Laukas Tonstudio) and his own music club (Studiobühne Fürth) - and he plays simply unbelievably!
