Amazing combination of a classic Big Band sound with a four-part vocal ensemble. Joint concerts and recordings with August-Wilhelm Scheer (baritone sax) and Werner G. Seifert (Hammond B3 organ). August-Wilhelm Scheer is the founder and chairman of the supervisory board of IDS Scheer and head of an institute for commercial information technology (both in Saarbrücken, Germany). Werner G. Seifert is Chief Executive Officer of the German stock exchange. In spite of these time-consuming careers both are great jazz musicians and exciting soloists. Since July 2000, the band is conducted by the jazz trumpeter Thomas Siffling (Mannheim, Germany). He has led the band to a versatile repertoire that contains music from various genres such as classic swing, soft ballads, latin and funk.
